The PBP2' latex agglutination test kit by Oxoid is used for the detection of PBP2' to aid in identifying methicillin resistance in both Staphylococcus aureus and coagulase negative staphylococci. Latex technology and superior molecular methods provide highly accurate results due to the detection of the gene product.
